Question 1

Is there an SDK?

Accepted Answer

No, and you do not need one. It is bearer auth over multipart or JSON, so curl, fetch or requests is enough. The endpoint reference has copy-paste examples in cURL, Node and Python.

Question 2

What happens to my credits if a generation fails?

Accepted Answer

They come back. Credits are deducted before the provider call and refunded per image, so a batch that half fails bills only for the half that worked. On a recreate, a failure in either stage refunds both the reverse and the credits.

Question 3

Can the API write to my saved prompt library?

Accepted Answer

No. The library is read-only over both REST and MCP. Saving happens in the web app, so an integration with a bug cannot rewrite work you have kept.

Question 4

Which models accept an input image?

Accepted Answer

The Gemini and OpenAI models do. Grok, Seedream and Kling are prompt-only, and the generate endpoint returns a 400 rather than silently dropping your image. GET /v1/models reports it per model at runtime.
