Voice to Prompt: Describe Any Voiceover and Find a Voice Like It

Upload a voiceover you like and get the voice described the way a casting director would: age, accent, pitch, pace, energy and delivery. Then pick one of the closest voices in our library, or design a brand new voice with the same qualities, and voice your own script in it.

How It Works

  1. Upload the voiceover: an ad read, a narration, a podcast clip, your own recording, or a video with a voice on it.
  2. Get the voice described: gender, age, accent, pitch, pace, energy, tone and delivery, in words you can reuse.
  3. Pick or design your voice: the closest library voices are listed with the reasons they match, or design a new voice from the description in the AI Voice Generator.

What People Use It For

  • Ad voiceovers: describe the read that made a competitor's ad work, then voice your own script in a matching style.
  • Consistent narration: describe the voice of your last video so the next one sounds like the same channel.
  • Briefing a voice actor: hand a human voice actor a precise description of the read you want.
  • Brand voice: put your brand's voice into words once, then reuse it on every video.

A Description, Not a Clone

Voice to Prompt describes qualities and matches them. It never copies a real person's voice and never identifies who is speaking. A voice you design from the description is a new, synthetic voice, which keeps your ads clear of impersonation problems.

Supported Files

  • Audio: MP3, WAV, M4A, AAC, FLAC, OGG, Opus and WebM
  • Video: MP4, MOV and WebM, and we read the soundtrack
  • A recording straight from your microphone
  • Up to 10 minutes and 200MB

Pricing

2 AI Credits up to 3 minutes, 3 up to 6 minutes and 4 up to 10 minutes. Designing a new voice from the description costs 5 AI Credits for three versions to choose from, and a voiceover is 1 AI Credit per 100 characters on the Natural and Expressive voices, and 1 per 200 characters on Fast draft.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does it clone the voice?

No. We describe a voice's qualities and match them to voices in our library, or design a new voice with those qualities. We never copy a real person's voice.

Can I use it on my own recordings?

Yes. Describing your own voice, or your current narrator's, is the quickest way to keep every video sounding like the same channel.

What does it cost?

2 AI Credits up to 3 minutes, 3 up to 6 minutes and 4 up to 10 minutes, priced by the length of the file. If the read fails, the credits are refunded.
