A script to a full set of video frames, in one thread
Paste the script, get the shot list, and generate every frame in one consistent look without writing twelve prompts by hand.
Twelve frames in a chat window is twelve prompts written one at a time, each one quietly losing the thread. One brief against a thread that remembers is the same twelve, consistent, in a single pass.
Why this will not look generic: The frames come from your script and your saved style, and the thread still has shot one in view when it makes shot seven, which is the only reason twelve frames look like one piece rather than twelve unrelated images.
What you walk away with
- A shot list derived from your script
- One frame per shot, all carrying the same look
- A clip per frame, ready to assemble in your editor
- The prompt set, saved and reusable for the next episode
Typical run: 6 to 24 shots. Past roughly twenty-four, drive the frames from /v1 and keep the thread for the shot list.
This one happens in one conversation
You bring: A script, or just the beats. A saved style in your library if you have one.
Open with: Here is my script. Break it into shots, then generate a frame for every shot in one consistent look.
What the thread holds on to:
- The script and the shot list it derived, so shot seven knows what shot one was
- The exact prompt it used for the first frame, which is what keeps the set looking like one piece
- Your saved style, applied across every frame rather than re-described each time
Then you can just ask:
- Reshoot shot four, keep everything else
- Give me a vertical version of the whole set
- Save this prompt set so the next episode matches
- What is the shot list missing if I want it to run thirty seconds?
How it works
- Shot list and frames, in one pass (In Claude) - The brief above is the whole step. The thread holds the script, so the frames stay consistent without you restating the look.
- Put each frame in motion - Video is not on the API, so the motion pass runs here, one frame at a time.
Why not just do this in a chat window?
Because that is where this workflow already happens, and the part that hurts is not the generating. It is that the thread has the memory and no tools, so every frame costs you a round trip.
- The thread remembers, the form does not. A tool page is a stateless form: fill it, get one asset, it forgets. A conversation still holds your script, the shot list and the prompt it used for frame one when it gets to frame seven. That memory is the only thing that makes a set look like one piece, and it is why this belongs in a thread rather than on a page here.
- One brief instead of twelve round trips. Generating one image at a time means re-describing the look every time and watching it drift anyway. With the connector in the thread, the shot list drives the generation and the style comes from your library, so the consistency is maintained by something other than your patience.
- It ends where your editor starts. The frames and the clips come out of here. The assembly does not, and we are not pretending otherwise. You take the set into whatever you already cut in, which is the honest end of this job.
Best for anyone making the same kind of short repeatedly, where episode nine should look like episode one.
Cost and time
This workflow runs at from 20 credits + about 2 minutes. Your result carries automatically from each step into the next, so there is no re-uploading between tools. Reverses are billed from your reverse meter and generation steps from your AI Credits, both bundled in every pay-as-you-go credit pack.
